ZN Dermatology is a boutique dermatology practice in Houston’s Galleria / Uptown area, created to provide thoughtful, physician-led cosmetic, laser, and surgical dermatology in a refined and personal setting.
ZN Dermatology operates primarily on a self-pay / direct-pay model, with separate considerations for Medicare patients. This model prioritizes quality over volume and allows us to provide a more personalized experience, a direct doctor-patient relationship, and greater transparency around fees and treatment options.
Direct-Pay

A direct-pay model allows ZN Dermatology to focus on individualized care rather than insurance-driven visit structures.
This approach allows for thoughtful evaluation, clear discussion of treatment options, and treatment planning centered on each patient’s goals. Patients have the opportunity to understand their options, review expected fees, and make informed decisions with guidance from Dr. Zeena Nawas.

Cosmetic, Laser & Non-Covered Services
Cosmetic consultations, injectable treatments, laser procedures, energy-based treatments, skin rejuvenation, scar treatments, and other non-covered services are self-pay.
These services may include Botox®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, laser treatments, energy-based treatments, scar revision, skin rejuvenation procedures, and related cosmetic dermatology services.
Fees will be reviewed before treatment whenever possible, so patients can understand the expected cost before moving forward.
Transparent Fees Before Care
ZN Dermatology is committed to clear communication about fees and payment expectations. Consultation fees, procedure fees, and expected costs will be reviewed before services are provided whenever possible.
Our goal is to help patients make informed decisions with a clear understanding of their options, expected costs, and treatment plan.
Insurance & Coverage
ZN Dermatology is primarily a self-pay practice and generally does not accept insurance.
Cosmetic services and non-covered services are self-pay. Medical dermatology, surgical dermatology and Mohs surgery are also generally handled on a self-pay basis unless Medicare coverage applies.
Patients will receive clear information about consultation fees, procedure fees, and expected payment before care is scheduled whenever possible.
Medicare Patients
Medicare patients should contact ZN Dermatology before scheduling so we can review coverage information and help determine next steps.
Coverage may depend on the type of Medicare coverage, the service being requested, and other plan-specific factors. Medicare patients should contact the clinic before receiving services.
